The Junction Box gives
you the opportunity of having any receptacle configuration that your
application might require, located in one 9-1/4"W x 5-1/2"D x 8-1/2"H,
incredibly durable drop box. The Junction Box's heavy duty, cast aluminum case and large integral handle makes it easy to carry, even with a gloved hand. The case is made of quarter inch thick aluminum on all sides and has one half inch thick reinforced corners. The Junction Box is designed to give maximum protection to all internal electrical parts and basically offers years of trouble free service. Each side of The Junction Box is fitted with quarter inch thick, polypropylene faceplates that are back lighted with a 25 watt lamp. The bright back lit receptacle panels make The Junction Box easy to locate, and allows easy and correct orientation of plugs to the receptacles, even at the darkest work sites. You can choose from either a fully recessed inlet plug, or you can specify a one foot pigtail with any NEMA plug configuration. If you desire to have The Junction Box wired directly to your permanently mounted cord reel, you must comply with NFPA-19.11.7.4 circuit protection, call for details and pricing. The Junction Box complies with all current NFPA requirements. Each back lit faceplate is installed with two standard receptacles. You may have a single, duplex, or combination of both receptacles on each side. Each receptacle if covered with a deluxe heavy duty spring loaded, snap type, weatherproof cover. Each cover is imprinted in white with the voltage and ampere rating of that receptacle.
The horizontal and vertical junction box mounting brackets are designed to fit Extenda-Lite's Electrical Junction Box. It is designed with polypropylene guides on each side of the mounting bracket to make the junction box easy to remove and stow. The guides also act as spacers to insure the minimum amount of movement when the junction box is in the stowed position. These mounting brackets come complete with drain holes and spacers on the bottom of the bracket, to keep the junction box clear of standing water. The junction box holders are made of several different materials and finishes, but all of the boxes come complete with drain holes and spacers. |
