| Unlike other battings, Chambray Pure® is made totally with virgin fibers. Needled from an equally balanced blend of new NOMEX® and KEVLAR® fibers. Chambray Pure® delivers an exceptional balance of TPP, THL and moderate cost. Like Aralite®, Chambray Pure® weighs less than NOMEX® quilt. Unlike other batting-based quilts, the chambray face cloth is producer-dyed with Nomex® fibers from Dupont. The cloth is stronger and more colorfast than traditionally-dyed plain weave cloths. |

| GlideTM Pure is similar to Chambray Pure®, except it has a high-lubricity face cloth. GlideTM Pure is made completely with virgin fibers and delivers an exceptional balance of TPP, THL, and freedom of movement. Unlike Caldura®, the GlideTM Pure face cloth has a very low coefficient of friction and wicks perspiration off the body with great ease. It also has a light weight compared to Caldura® but, because the color is from producer-dying, it maintains its great strength through time. |

| Center Cut represents another breakthrough in the orientation of the internal components. This combination system places a tough woven layer of water- resistant NOMEX® Chambray between the shell and the moisture barrier and a quilted composite of GlideTM face cloth and Teflon®-finished NOMEX® E-89TM (apertured AraFlo) on the other side of the moisture barrier (next to the wearer). This unique system improves the thermal properties (TPP) of the entire ensemble, while delivering outstanding total heat loss (THL) values. GlideTM Center Cut is only available on isodri® systems, this system picks up very little weight from water and dries in a flash. |

However, both the 2.3 oz/yd2 E-89™ and the 1.5 oz/yd2 apertured AraFlo® layers are finished by DuPont with Teflon® high-performance water resistance. This high-tech liner is available in the traditional (shell/moisture barrier/thermal barrier) orientation only under isodri® outer shell materials. This system delivers very high THL values and reduces the risk of water-related burn injuries. This extremely lightweight liner is for departments that have determined they can operate safely with minimum thermal protection. The Glide™ face cloth wicks perspiration quickly, but the entire system carries less water and dries more rapidly than any other traditionally-oriented concept. |
