About Us

“When a man becomes a fireman his greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. What he does after that is all in the line of work.”

- Chief of Department – Edward Croker, FDNY

Our History

1911 - Chief Edward F. Croker of the New York City Fire Department created Croker Fire Prevention, a company that specialized in the manufacture and supply of interior fire equipment for the protection of commercial buildings throughout the United States.

1930 - With $500 cash and a $4,000 bank loan, Fire-End Products was formed in New York City by Anthony J. Sposato, Sr. Their primary business was selling and servicing fire extinguishers. One of Fire-End Products' first customers was the New York Daily News on 42nd street. Fire-End Products was also a major supplier of municipal firefighting supplies to various New England dealers.

1946 - Fire-End Products was taken over by the founder's sons, Anthony and Joseph Sposato. Fire-End Products grew and became a dominant leader in the field of fire protection products.

1959 - Fire-End Products purchased all shares of Croker Fire Prevention. Two old and trusted names are combined to form Fire-End & Croker Corporation.

2016 – Led by its third generation, Paul Sposato, Fire-End & Croker Corporation continues to be a dominant force in the municipal and interior fire equipment markets. Our products are used throughout the world, and we strive to be your number one source for all your fire protection needs.

2020 – Became part of the MGI (Morris Group International®) family of companies
